  • Science is knowledge in its special form. This infers knowledge devoid of grossness. This only is atmajñana (soul-knowledge).

  • Remain within the family ambit, maintain livelihood through own earnings and practise sadhana on God.

  • Actions (karma) have no differentiation between good and bad. If one performs actions attached to covetousness, greed, the results of such actions can never be positive.

  The abstruse esotery of yoga-knowledge has been poetized in such a manner that humankind especially true soul-seekers can glean the subtle nuances of why one should revert to Sanatana yoga practice once again. The poems pull at one’s heart strings striking a chord of empathy amongst it’s readers

  Venerable Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee has also penned poems on his own personal existence will definitely bring the reader whomsoever it may be to pause and ponder on the essential human ingredient — inherent love which has totally been obliterated today, and through this attain peace. Thus love → lovefulness → peacefulness → peace in other words love, will foster an all-encompassing lovefulness generating an all-embracing peacefulness stirring universal peace.

  The translation has been difficult as it is in verse and ardent endeavours have been undertaken to present a meticulous rendition of the inherent ideas without sacrificing the inherent essence in the least. As English is an efferent language and all Indian languages being afferent, scrupulous attention to the rhythm has also been maintained.

  The rhyme-scheme of each poem in Bengali by Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee has been strictly abided by in English to facilitate the readers to glean the essence latent within, without losing their lyrical cadence. If this had not been adhered to it would have been a transliteration producing blank verse in consequence, which would have gone against the technical principles of Dr. Chatterjee’s verses.

  Dr. Chatterjee’s own words and handwriting about [which has been scanned here for the readers to derive the feeling of authenticity and closeness] the literary medium (the yogic one in this context) i.e. prose which includes books, articles, essays, dissertations, verse, drama, one art plays et al is a very profound one

  

  He states : — “The literary medium which will reach every household and gradually awaken consciousness to posterity about Brahmavidya and yogasastra which is the backbone of Sanatana Dharma.”

  Bigger significance being God made His Advent as Bhagwan Ram at the end of Tretayuga but Ramayana was composed by His manifestation, Valmiki, as Lord Krishna at the end of Dwaparyuga but Mahabharata and Gita was composed by His manifestation Krishna Dvaipayana-Vyasdeva and likewise as Shamachurn Lahiree God at the end of Kaliyuga and ‘Purana Purusha’ was authored by His own manifestation Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee. Thus in this manner at the transition of each yuga in accordance with its respective necessity, God establishes His own ideals.

  God makes His Advent only at the juncture of two yugas when humanity suffers a religious decadence. He wholly manifests Himself in the Form of a Human Being to enable us mortals to come closer to Him, to enable us to divulge all our afflictions and joys to Him and also in order to impart His teachings to us. If He appears in any other Form, it would never be possible for us to be close to Him. Being born as a Mortal, He does not break His own rule i.e. He has to abide by the mortal afflictions, sorrows, etc. This rigorous discipline on His part is intended for our upliftment and knowledge.

  Only Yogiraj having the Divine Prerogative to attain the post attainment state of merging has recounted this and thus declared the Omnific Words — ‘I Am God’ in His diary which the reader will glean from Chapter-IX. Shama Churn is Indefinable, Unquestionable, Non-answerable, Incomparable, Nondebatable, Unconfinable, Indivisible. He can be defined as; questionable to; answerable to, compared with; debated for and against; confined within; divided by; none other than Shama Churn Himself.
