Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee was invited as sole representative from India to participate and mediate in the Parliament of World Religions held at Val St. Hugon, France in 1997 convened by Dalai Lama and sponsored by UNO, UNESCO, UNCHR. At this Parliament of World Religions, he upheld the tenets of Sanatana yogadharma to the world with a clarion voice. His brilliant exegesis on the subject of love, peace and solidarity – ‘ONE WORLD, ONE RELIGION, ONE GOD, ONE MAN’ at The Parliament of World Religions received tumultuous applause. French newspapers commented on him to be ‘wise worthy dignified sage’; ‘a seer’; ‘a visionary’ etc.

Kolkata Police Felicitation (2012)
Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee (World Kriyayoga Master) being felicitated by Addl. CP I Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra – Kolkata Police on 30th June, 2012 at Bodyguard Lines Alipore, Kolkata.
On June 23, 2012, Kolkata Police organised a felicitation ceremony for Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee at the Bodyguard Lines, Alipore. Dr. Chatterjee is an ex-police officer having served the Kolkata Police for nearly four decades and juxtaposing rigorous police discipline with austere Kriyayogasadhana, a rare example. He was felicitated by Dr. Sudhir Misra, Additional CP I with a plaque. The function was presided by Additional CP III Mr. Debashish Roy, D.C Armed Police Mr. Asit Pal, A.C Armed Police Mr. Sunil Hazra and attended by a host of IPS officers and Police Personnel. Dr. Chatterjee spoke about benefits of Kriyayoga for the police force while Mrs. Joyati Kapur, Working President of the Sanatan Yogiraj Shyamacharan Foundation, introduced the Mission and Dr. Chatterjee.
Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee; World Kriyayoga Master, was felicitated for His lifetime contribution towards Humankind and for setting an extraordinary example for all policemen to follow.
