Relevance Of Guru – Shishya Parampara In Kriyayoga
Kriyayoga being a sublime holy supreme science the Guru-Shishya parampara is imperative to maintain the authenticity. The relationship between Guru-Shishya far surpasses teacher-student relationship because the latter is a relatioship of the gross world but unfortunately today Kriyayoga has been assigned a western garb with gimmicks about student-teacher relationship thrown in. This is not what it should be. The relationship between Guru and Shishya is all embracing, an all encompassing one as Yogiraj Sri Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya, Fountain-Head of Kriyayoga as stated – “GURU SAMAN DATA NAHI” – (“None can equal the munificence of a Guru”) because the Kriyayoga Guru is introspective, epitome of boundless love enabling the disciple to rectify his shortcomings through Kriya.
Krishna’s counsel to Arjuna is the Guru’s counsel to a disciple to become a yogi and how to proceed in the sadhana battle
The Guru will continuously shower graces on his disciples, endeavour to elevate them and choose the fittest disciple in all respects as the next Guru. Unfortunately today in the world of Kriyayoga there are a plethora of self-made Gurus . Only the shishya is authorised by his Guru to become one – the path of Kriyayoga will become golden because the disciple will render utmost endeavour to keep the flame of Kriyayoga burning, by Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya, Fountain-Head of Kriyayoga burning thus make the world a peaceful habitable place to live in.
Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya has stated — “HUM CHODAI KOI NAHI, ADI PURUSH BHAGAVAN, NIRAKAR BRAHMA, HUMARI RUPASE JAGAD PRAKASHIT” — Nothing exists barring Me, I am the Primordial Being God, God Myself, Amorphous Brahma, the world has emanated from My Form ” — If this is His Identity, then as devotees we can assume that from beginning to end only He is pervasive. In this regard according to sastra injunctions and Lahiree Mahasaya’s own declarations when He only is Omnipotent none can exist above Him, but in accordance with His Own discipline, He also had to have a Guru thus this Brahma Shyamacharan’s second manifestation or essence is Babaji. Therefore if we consider Babaji to be separate and establish him as Guru above Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya, which the world today is doing, it is definitely erroneous. Hence Babaji and Shama Churn are one and the same essence. Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree Mahasaya is the Brahma factor while Babaji is the Kutastha factor.
