Ideals And Objectives
To make Kriyayoga sadhana practised by Lahiri Mahasaya Himself and which He imparted to mankind available to spiritually-oriented masses.
To vow to practise, preach, propagate, preserve the spiritual existence, ideals of Lahiri Mahasaya and Sanatana Dharma´s backbone – yogasastra philosophy.
To endeavour to inculcate ethical spiritual trend of thoughts for pure natural evolvement hence total development of humanity through proper teaching and culture, thus establishing a healthy environment.
To reorient man towards peace, love and de-stress him from various dichotomies, disorder, anomalies in today´s loveless peaceless world ridden with strife, dissensions.
Today there are a plethora of false Gurus trading with and treating Kriyayoga as a commodity. The Mission endeavours to save Kriyayoga Brahmavidya from this state.
Kriyayoga is supreme science, Brahma-knowledge, Atmavidya (soul-knowledge) spiritual knowledge. The present man steeped in consumerism has lost this knowledge. As a result man considers his body, senses, and mind as his own, thus remains busy tending them, for this reason everybody becomes miserable and is compelled to remain in the ambit of the birth-death cycle. To retrieve man from this state and provide him the lead for ambrosia or else the state beyond the birth-death cycle.
To impart knowledge that the body is impermanent but the soul is eternal.
To organize seminars, workshops, symposiums, discussions on Kriyayoga to enable man to glean the actual Kriyayoga essence that
(a) Kriyayoga is the science about Prana.
(b) That worship of Prana transcends all castes, sects, isms, religions. It is based on non-duality. God is non-dual, so attainment of God is never possible through the path of several man-made religions which are in actuality communities; that serving Prana is the actual science.
To propagate Yogiraj awareness thus Prana-consciousness and unite the world in one platform fostering peace, fraternity, solidarity by which peace will ensue spontaneously within and without and will no longer remain an external factor to be sought.
The Mission already publishes journals, books, pamphlets, other literary material, print, CDs and endeavours to further these activities in order to make the essence of Kriyayoga comprehensible and lucid to one and all.
To maintain the continuum of Shyamacharan Lahiri revived Kriyayoga.
