... Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiree
Yogiraj Sri Shyamacharan Lahiree is the Fountain-Head of Kriyayoga, the same yogasadhana that has been practised in Sanatana Bharata since aeons by the great sages of the past. At the end of Kaliyuga, Bhagavan Shyamacharan made His Advent as a Householder to give declining Kriyayoga a push. During His lifetime by juxtaposing ordinary household existence with austere yogasadhana, He has reminded mankind of the ideal of Sanatana Bharata. He is therefore known as the God of Householders. more
"Ghurni" in Bengali literally means that which revolves. Yogic interpretation of it is as follows: In general when a man is born, he enters into the ambit of 1,00,000 vibrations from the original state of 100% Statice. Therefore in accordance to His Own discipline when Shyamacharan chose to mark His Advent in the Mortal Form, He also was required to do the same. Therefore He was born in a village called "Ghurni", meaning that which revolves or is in the ambit of vibrations. Moreover Ghurni also refers to the continuous rotation of the earth - hence the continuum of the cycle of births and deaths.
